Doreen began working as a volunteer for EPM in 2006, helping Randy with Deception and 50 Days of Heaven. In 2008, she officially joined EPM’s staff; editing Randy’s writing (tightening and trimming) is her main responsibility. She also immensely enjoys answering theological questions our readers ask.

Being blessed with a job that allows her to work from home and to immerse herself in God’s Word, and the writings of godly men like Randy Alcorn, C.H. Spurgeon, A.W. Tozer, C.S. Lewis, and others is something Doreen is grateful for every workday.

Doreen cherishes one-on-one time with Jesus during long walks and her weekly sabbath. Traveling, spoiling grandkids, and creating art pieces which reflect her love of God and His creation—along with reading just about everything—merit the highest spots in her top ten favorite things to do. She is a nationally certified biblical counselor and also serves other local and national organizations as editor and writer.

Doreen has three children, including twin sons—one, a Navy Officer/podiatric surgeon, and the other, a satellite communications engineer. Her daughter is a culinary artist/private chef. She also has the seven most extraordinary grandchildren on the planet.
