The Chasm takes place during a sliver of time during the events of Alcorn’s book Edge of Eternity. Like the previous book, it follows Nick Seagrave and is an allegory in which Nick appears in another world. 

At times, life throws us challenges. Sometimes those challenges can lead us to a dark, maybe depressive, place; however, this devotional challenges us to rely on the One who created us for a specific reason. 90 Days of God's Goodness by Randy Alcorn is another great devotional with daily reflections that shine light on personal darkness.

Randy Alcorn’s Wait Until Then is both touching and wise. Any parent who wants to explain what happens to us when we die, how to deal with the death of a loved one, and how to cope with serious disappointment will want to read this book with their child.

Although intended for children, I sent Heaven for Kids to a dear friend in North Carolina who bought copies for her entire church after she finished reading the book. She was so impressed with the extraordinary clarity of the author’s message.

Randy Alcorn, author and pastor, wrote Tell Me About Heaven for children. The juvenile fiction story helps children visualize and understand what heaven might be like. The story begins with conversations between ten-year-old Jake and his Grandpa, known as “Papa” after Jake’s beloved Grammy dies.

This heaven-focused book provided me more earthly applications than I could handle-from what to teach my children and how to spend my money, to what to dream about as I lay my head down at night.
