Some of you have read The Game Plan for Life, a book which focuses on the key areas of life a man needs to address in order to lead a victorious life. Joe Gibbs asked eleven men to write chapters on everything from the Bible, God, and creation, to sin and addiction, finances, marriage, and Heaven. Os Guinness, Chuck Colson, Tony Evans, and Josh McDowell are among the contributors.

Joe called me early in the project and asked if I would address the topic of Heaven because he’s read my book Heaven. He also asked for some recommendations of other men to write on various subjects. I think we ended up with a very good men’s book.

Last year Lifeway came out with The Game Plan for Life curriculum, used by many men’s groups. They recently came out with The Game Plan for Life Volume 2 that concludes with my chapter and interview on Heaven. For the next several days I want you to hear videos, averaging 90 seconds, from four men: Joe Gibbs, Tony Evans, Os Guinness and myself. If you’ve never read The Game Plan for Life or participated in one of the studies, these four videos, 6 minutes total, can still be of help to you. But if you’re looking for a book for men to read, or a book and video combination for men to study, I highly recommend The Game Plan for Life.
