My normal approach to Bible study is to pore over texts that relate to something on my mind and heart. Sometimes this has been prompted by my research on current book projects.  

If you haven't discovered audio books, you don't know what you're missing. The great thing is, you can listen while driving, doing dishes, working on a car, running, biking, you name it. I love audio books, and so does my wife Nanci.

As for your concern about addressing too many moral issues, that's fine. It's just a matter of taste.
