You say you care about abortion and the unborn. But what about the actual human children locked in cages?
Answer from Stephanie Anderson, EPM staff
We can care about immigrant children and unborn children—there is no conflict there. Both are made in God’s image and precious, and both are actual human children, just at different stages of development. We can and should and do speak out for the care and welfare of immigrant children.
Sadly, this argument is used to say, “You have no right to say anything about unborn children.” That’s simply not true. Randy and most every pro-lifer we know cares deeply about both born and not yet born children.
Our ministry gives away 100% of the royalties from his books; some go to pro-life causes but the vast majority goes to care for already born children and people, including to relief ministries providing practical needs. (One ministry we support is Samaritan’s Purse. They work at the U.S./Mexico border helping people.)
On the subject of children at the border, here is a fact check about children in cages. Also, here is a testimony from a human rights worker sharing concerns. Let’s pray for these children and seek ways to serve them in Jesus’ name, just as we continue to speak out and help unborn children and their mothers.
