In this article, Tim Barnett with Stand to Reason answers the claim that being prolife is just “pro-forced birth.” He writes, “Abortion advocates are brilliant at playing word games. Using clever rhetorical moves, they are able to make protecting preborn children look bad and killing preborn children look good.”

Dr. Douglas Groothuis writes, “Don’t ask physicists about theology. Don't ask psychologists about history. Don't ask (at least one) New Testament scholars about abortion; that is, don’t ask N. T. Wright, who is dead wrong on the ethics of abortion as his recent podcast revealed.”

Treatment for a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy is NOT an abortion. It is very important that we use precise language when are talking about these subjects.

Randy writes: “Another place I’ve felt that throat clenching darkness is at abortion clinics. Once I opened a dumpster at an abortion clinic and saw blood and flesh. I was overwhelmed with a horror that wasn’t like something made to look bad in a movie, but was real and undiluted evil.”

January 24 marked the March for Life in Washington D.C., which is held on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling. This story shared at the march by Josiah Presley, an abortion survivor, is powerful.

Over the years, some people have thought I talk too much about social justice issues and not enough about missions, not realizing how much EPM gives substantially to missions and crisis and development aid. We give to a wide and diverse range of causes that we believe are close to God’s heart.

Pro-life men are told by some pro-choice advocates, “No uterus, no opinion” and “No womb, no say.” But abortion is a human issue, not a gender issue. 

Long before it was ever a divisive political issue in our country, abortion was a moral issue, and one which God has a clear and emphatic position on. I encourage you to consider what God’s Word says about unborn children, and what the people of God throughout history have said about abortion.

EPM does believe it is possible to agree in principle with people of other faiths on this issue of the sanctity of human life, without endorsing the theology of those other faiths.
