I have the greatest appreciation for George Verwer, founder of Operation Mobilization (OM) and an advocate for worldwide missions. Some years ago George contacted me, saying God had laid on his heart the plight of unborn children.

I first met artist Ron DiCianni many years ago at the Christian Bookseller’s Convention (now called ICRS). He has become a good friend over the years, and I thank God for a brother who uses his gifts well.

People used to think the prolife movement would die of old age. But something happened.

A pastor once shared a heartbreaking story about a post-abortive woman he had counseled. As she was leaving his office, he said “Can I ask you a question? If there would have been anyone outside the clinic when you went to get your abortion, what would you have done?” 

As people repeatedly state, abortion is NOT the only issue. However, I believe that because God hates the shedding of innocent blood, and has a special love for the most vulnerable and defenseless children, abortion is the single most important issue facing this country.
