This is a very difficult issue with many different takes, even by Christians who fully believe in the inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture. There are young earth creationists, and old earth creationists, and they will give him a different answer to the question of the relative age of the earth.

At last—a way to be Christian and popular at the same time. By protecting the environment, you can do good and still be politically correct.

If I had only Scripture to judge by I would assume it is a young Earth. If I had only science to judge by I would assume it is an old Earth. 

Happiness in Heaven is based not on ignorance, but on perspective. We will be with Christ, see accurately, and live in a sinless environment. Heavenly happiness cannot be based on a fundamental ignorance of what is happening on Earth or even in Hell.

People often ask me whether animals will be in Heaven. Their second question is whether they’ll ever see their pets again.
