Saturday was our grandsons’ last soccer game this season.

Nanci and I really enjoyed this video. Yes, predictably, it involves a dog! Great music, too. 

As you may know by now, Nanci and I love dogs. They are God’s creation, and many of us enjoy them and other pets. Nanci looks regularly at the website Dog of the Day and often emails me a link to the day’s dog. 

My wife Nanci showed me this dog video. If you love dogs like we do, you’ll love this. Makes me smile and thank God for the wonders of His creation. 

I grew up with a Golden Retriever, a great breed. When I was a boy, my golden, Champ, used to crawl in my sleeping bag when I spent the night in the back yard (watching the stars and reading comic books with a flashlight). Nanci and I love dogs. We enjoyed this video, and hope you do, too.

If you haven’t seen this video, it’ll make your day. I just watched it again as I took a brief break from final revisions on my book. Think of it as God’s common grace at work in this world.  

Nanci is more football-crazy than I am, but we both really enjoy football season, and sort of hate to see it winding down as the Superbowl approaches. The national college championship game was played a week ago. Congratulations to the Florida Gators and quarterback Tim Tebow, named Most Valuable Player.
