Although intended for children, I sent Heaven for Kids to a dear friend in North Carolina who bought copies for her entire church after she finished reading the book. She was so impressed with the extraordinary clarity of the author’s message. 

Randy Alcorn, author and pastor, wrote Tell Me About Heaven for children. The juvenile fiction story helps children visualize and understand what heaven might be like. The story begins with conversations between ten-year-old Jake and his Grandpa, known as “Papa” after Jake’s beloved Grammy dies.

Though it was originally geared toward children ages 8-12, we know of more than one group who has used it as a Bible study for adults.

Dr. N.T. Wright, a leading British New Testament scholar, mentions Randy Alcorn's Book Heaven. 

As you may know by now, Nanci and I love dogs. They are God’s creation, and many of us enjoy them and other pets. Nanci looks regularly at the website Dog of the Day and often emails me a link to the day’s dog. 

Over the years I have been asked many profound questions about Heaven. This is not one of them.

Today's blog is a combination of several short answers to questions I've responded to lately. Some are questions I've received on my Facebook page. 

Let me start with what Heaven won’t be: boring. It is not a place where we will be ghosts or angels endlessly floating around on clouds, strumming harps, and wishing we’d brought a magazine.

Last night, on Independence Day, our dear friend Sono Harris went home to be with Jesus. She is a precious and faithful sister, one of a kind, and all the more precious now as her faith has become sight.
