We tend to be passionate about things that don’t matter, fanatics and fans about what won’t last. But we are afraid to look like fanatics for Jesus. 

There isn’t a better New Year’s resolution than what starts in the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:7-8.

“Grow in grace”—not in one grace only, but in all grace. Grow in that root-grace, faith. Believe the promises more firmly than you have done.
