Recently two of our EPM staff and Randy had a delightful visit with a man and his two daughters who flew out from the Midwest to Oregon. Randy had previously shared about Jerry, and how he has given away literally thousands of the Heaven booklets, in a blog.

Nanci’s death, and grieving our temporary separation, has given me many opportunities to write and speak about grief and share an eternal perspective. Here are some notes we’ve received from readers who have been helped by EPM’s resources on Heaven and grief.

Over the years, some people have thought I talk too much about social justice issues and not enough about missions, not realizing how much EPM gives substantially to missions and crisis and development aid. We give to a wide and diverse range of causes that we believe are close to God’s heart.

I get excited about reaching people of every tribe and nation and language, and while we don’t have resources in every language, of course, we have something to offer in an increasing number, which is very encouraging!

One of the things I love most about our ministry is that our staff take the time to respond to people who contact us. It communicates something important when a hurting person receives a personal answer.

Recently our ministry got a letter in the mail from a 7-year-old reader. Her note is precious beyond words! And it captures the heart.

In this clip Randy Alcorn shares with Dr. Lee Warren about the work of Eternal Perspective Ministries, the nonprofit organization he founded and directs.

In December 2020, Randy was interviewed by Costi Hinn and Reagan Rose on the For the Gospel Podcast. Randy shares about his early ministry years and how Eternal Perspective Ministries got it's start. They go on to discuss Heaven, the gospel, and how Christians can maintain an eternal perspective in the midst of today's chaotic culture. 

Our ministry received this note a few days ago from a prisoner we sent one of my books to. In his letter, he mentioned his birth date, which is six months to the day after my youngest daughter Angela’s. It touched me to think of how different people’s lives turn out.  

Nanci and I were touched by these recent notes EPM has received from readers. We’re so grateful to be part of this eternity-shaping ministry!

This month marks 30 years since Nanci and I started Eternal Perspective Ministries. When we think about what God has done in the last three decades through this ministry, we’re grateful and humbled. Hope you enjoy reading about 30 ways that God, in His grace, has used EPM and continues to do so. I don’t talk about our ministry on my blog much. But God is doing remarkable things through Eternal Perspective Ministries, and every once in a while, I believe there’s value in sharing with others the glimpses that God has graciously given us of His work through EPM.

When I started EPM in 1990, I never anticipated God would use our organization to reach so many prisoners with the gospel or help disciple believers in prison. For many years, the key to this vital part of our ministry has been Sharon, with her great heart for inmates.

Many of my readers already know this story, but I wanted to share it for others who might not have yet heard it. It also sets up why the fact that our ministry has now given away over $8.2 million in book royalties is so significant!
