Last year, EPM introduced readers of Eternal Perspectives to our plans to fund the translation of the gospel into two languages, the El and Que languages, through the work of one of our ministry partners.

Create interest in mission—invite missionaries, have a world map in the church hall, mission information, adopt an unreached people group (prayer, info).

Earlier this year, my friend Doug Nichols, founder and director of ACTION International Ministries, a great missions organization, sent these humbling statistics about needy children worldwide. 

Thirty years ago, Ron Rohman began preaching in front of the old Pioneer Courthouse at SW Fifth and Morrison streets in downtown Portland, Oregon. Now that their children are grown, his wife Karen (pictured here with Ron) has joined him in his ministry, which they call intercessory evangelism.

One of my favorite ministries is the JESUS film project, which I have personally witnessed at work in powerful ways in China, Cambodia and Mexico.

My friend Doug Nichols, founder of ACTION International Ministries, wrote this article about the importance of orphanages, and why we can't just leave street children on the street.

It is the only orphanage in the state that accepts children with disabilities. There are many opportunities to provide equipment (such as wheelchairs) for these special children.

I want to post this remarkable article you may appreciate. (Or maybe not.) Following the article, I'll share some of the ministries in Africa supported by the royalties from my books.  

I received an e-mail from World Relief, one of the finest Christian relief and development agencies, about the unfolding crisis in Congo.

While we were unable to find any real pictures of Aggie or her family, I hope this story of God's faithfulness through the sacrifice of missionary couple David and Svea Flood will inspire you. 

The apostle Paul gave us our top priority: “What I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3).
