The Bible actually has quite a lot to say about Heaven. Randy Alcorn’s 50 Days of Heaven presents us with an easy but profound read that takes away much of the mystery about life after death.

First, we know demons aren’t omniscient, since they’re just angels, created finite beings, and angels don’t know a lot of things, including the time of Christ’s return (Mark 13:32).

Can we really know in advance where we’re going when we die? The apostle John, the same one who wrote about the new heavens and New Earth, said in one of his letters, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13, emphasis added). 

Your book on abortion, Why ProLife?, helped me find the courage to talk to a friend and keep her from having one. I spent so much time praying for her to turn around and come to a life of purity. I just finished reading Deception. I enjoyed the mystery and humor so much that I read a passage aloud to my husband, and then had to hurry and finish the book so he could read it.

If you are comfortable with your relationship with the church and God, then do not read this book. Randy Alcorn will convict you with scripture that you have passed over too many times. — T. T.
